The 12 Visions of Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar), Leader of the New Force Movement

Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as “Cheddar,” the leader of the New Force Movement, has finally presented his vision for Ghana’s future to Ghanaians. Earlier this year, he revealed that his ambition to become President of Ghana is driven by a divine calling. Despite his limited experience in politics, he is guided by a strong conviction that this is his path. On Sunday, September 1, 2024, he made history by hosting Ghana’s first-ever virtual manifesto launch, dubbed “12 Pillars For Economic Freedom.” The event was broadcast across national televisions and radios, as well as online platforms.

During the launch, he unveiled his 12 visions for Ghana’s economic freedom, which are enumerated below:

1. Run a lean government with only 12 ministers to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Raise $50 billion by monetizing Ghanaian citizenship, offering investors a Ghanaian passport in return for their investment, and fostering economic growth.

3. Implement a borderless continent for trade and investment, print our own currency, and unify Africa as one entity, promoting economic integration and cooperation.

4. Reform SSNIT into a National Insurance Fund, allowing contributors to access their funds at any time, and providing financial security for citizens.

5. Establish a National Sovereign Wealth Fund to replace the IMF, eliminating the need for borrowing, and ensuring economic independence.

6. Construct Ghana’s first water transportation system and an 8,000KM railway line across the country, boosting infrastructure development and connectivity.

7. Build a food and gold reserve to secure Ghana’s needs for the next 100 years, ensuring food security and economic stability.

8. Transform Ghana into a tech hub, build a nuclear power plant, and develop a renewable energy infrastructure, driving innovation and sustainable energy solutions.

9. Reform the curriculum to focus on skills that turn students into entrepreneurs, rather than job seekers, promoting innovation and economic growth.

10. Place all mineral resources on a blockchain to prevent illegal mining (galamsey), ensure transparency, and promote responsible resource management.

11. Develop a National WEB3 platform and migrate all statutory and national data to a blockchain platform, curbing corruption and ensuring data integrity.

12. Establish Hollywood-style studios, empower artistes to own their catalogues, and ensure musicians earn reasonable royalties and control their distribution and recording platforms, promoting the creative industry.
