CSSPS Portal Restored for SHS Placement Review and Confirmation

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) portal is back online after a brief technical disruption.

According to the Service, candidates who sat for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) can now access the portal using their BECE Index Number and Date of Birth to review and confirm their Senior High School (SHS) placements.

The exercise, which began on Friday, August 30, will run until September 8, 2025, giving candidates, parents and guardians a limited window to complete the process.

GES, however, emphasized that the system does not permit any alterations to the assigned schools. Candidates are only required to confirm and review the placements already allocated.

To ensure a smooth process, a dedicated technical team and a 24-hour support unit have been put in place to address any challenges faced by users.

The Service expressed appreciation to the public for their patience during the period the portal experienced technical challenges and urged all candidates to complete the confirmation process within the stipulated timeframe.
