National Service Authority Releases First Batch of Postings for 2025/26 Service Year: 85,159 Graduates Deployed Nationwide
The National Service Authority has released the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 national service year, deploying a total of eighty-five thousand, one hundred and fifty-nine (85,159) personnel to user agencies across the country. The announcement, made public today, confirms that graduates from all accredited tertiary institutions who successfully completed the registration and verification process have been assigned to both public and private sector organizations to begin their mandatory one-year service.
The release covers only those who met all requirements without complications. According to the Authority, the deployed figure excludes individuals whose data presented mismatches during verification, as well as specialized professional categories such as teachers, nurses, midwives, and other critical groups. Personnel affected by data discrepancies have been informed that their postings will form part of subsequent batches still under review. The Authority has urged patience and cooperation while final adjustments are made.
To ensure full transparency, the National Service Authority has released detailed statistics outlining the enrollment and verification journey. A total of one hundred and fifty thousand, nine hundred and thirty-seven (150,937) students were initially uploaded by their respective institutions onto the national service platform. From this pool, ninety-one thousand, three hundred and thirty-nine (91,339) paid for and activated their personal identification number (PIN) codes, a prerequisite for advancing in the process. Verification was conducted exclusively using the Ghana Card, resulting in eighty-five thousand, four hundred and fifty-nine (85,459) individuals being authenticated. Finally, eighty-five thousand, one hundred and fifty-nine (85,159) completed full registration and have now been posted.
The strict reliance on the Ghana Card for identity confirmation reflects ongoing efforts to enhance accuracy, reduce fraud, and streamline the deployment process. Each posted graduate has been assigned based on academic background, regional demand, and national development priorities, with placements spanning ministries, district assemblies, hospitals, schools, agricultural programs, financial institutions, and approved private enterprises.
In its official statement, the National Service Authority congratulated the deployed personnel and emphasized the importance of their service in advancing national growth. Management expressed confidence that the graduates would approach their assignments with dedication, professionalism, and a strong sense of duty, contributing meaningfully to Ghana’s socio-economic progress during their one-year tenure.

Posted personnel are required to access their appointment letters via the official NSA portal using their PIN codes and Ghana Card details. They must report to their assigned regional offices for biometric validation and final documentation before proceeding to their user agencies. Orientation programs are scheduled to begin in November, with monthly allowances to be activated upon confirmation of service commencement.
The National Service Authority has assured the public that additional batches, including placements for specialized professions and those with resolved data issues, will be released in the coming weeks. Regional offices and helpdesk services remain available to assist graduates facing challenges with access or documentation.

This first release marks the official start of the 2025/26 national service cycle, a longstanding tradition that continues to play a vital role in youth development, skills application, and nation-building across Ghana.
