Senator Ned Nwoko Blames Regina Daniels’ ‘Unprovoked Carnage’ on Substance Abuse, Calls for Rehabilitation
The marriage of Senator Ned Nwoko and actress Regina Daniels has been thrust into the spotlight following a viral video that surfaced on Saturday, showing Regina in a state of distress. The footage, reported by PUNCH Online, captured the actress visibly agitated, shouting during a confrontation. In the video, Regina declared, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” This has sparked widespread concern among fans and observers.
On Sunday, Senator Nwoko addressed the controversy in a lengthy Facebook post and a short video shared on his handle ‘Senator Prince Ned Nwoko’. He alleged that Regina’s recent behavior, which he described as “drug-influenced” and “unprovoked carnage,” stemmed from her struggles with drug and alcohol abuse. Nwoko claimed that these issues were at the core of the crisis currently rocking their marriage.
Regina Daniels, who wed Nwoko in 2019, has frequently appeared alongside the politician and businessman in the public eye. Their union, characterized by a 40-year age gap, has long been a subject of public fascination and debate. However, the recent events have shifted attention to the alleged turmoil within their household.
According to Nwoko, Regina’s actions escalated in his absence, with the actress allegedly going on a violent rampage at their home. He claimed she attacked staff and destroyed property, stating, “She slapped and hit three staff in the past 48 hours and destroyed property, including cars and windows, for no just cause.” Nwoko further alleged that Regina had relocated to a place where she would have “unrestricted access to drugs.”
The senator expressed concern for his wife’s well-being, emphasizing that her battle with substance abuse was life-threatening. “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” he wrote. He urged her to continue her rehabilitation program, warning, “She must continue her rehabilitation programme, or I fear for her life and safety.”
Nwoko also pointed fingers at Regina’s associates, whom he accused of exacerbating the situation by supplying her with drugs. He specifically named Sammy, whom he described as Regina’s “main drug supplier,” and another individual, Ann, whom he called a “tiny evil devil” known for providing drugs to the actress. Nwoko claimed that while he was taking their child, Moon, to the hospital, a “scene of chaos” orchestrated by Sammy unfolded at their home.
To address Regina’s struggles, Nwoko stated that he had offered her two rehabilitation options, one in Asokoro and another in Jordan, “where she will not have access to drugs.” He presented these options as critical steps to help her recover and protect her safety.

The situation was further complicated by a public response from Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman, known as Sammy West. In an angry Instagram post, he accused Nwoko of assaulting his sister and vowed to defend her, writing, “Anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood.” His remarks added fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding the couple.
As of now, neither Regina Daniels nor her representatives have issued a public response to Nwoko’s allegations, leaving the exact cause of the altercation unclear. The unfolding drama continues to captivate public attention, with many awaiting further developments in this high-profile marital dispute.
