Ex-Girlfriend Confesses to Killing Young Couple in Kasoa “Fraud Boy” Case

Georgina Holom, Kwabena Osei’s ex-girlfriend, has pleaded guilty to the crime that led to the tragic deaths of Kwabena, 22, and Princess Ahiatey, 19, who were burnt to death together.

She pleaded guilty when she appeared before the Ofaakor Circuit Court at Kasoa on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, following her arrest.

20-year-old nursing mother, Georgina, was taken into custody after CCTV footage from a nearby shop revealed her involvement in the incident.

The CCTV footage, after review, prompted a police search of Georgina’s room, where they found a facemask, further fueling suspicion of her involvement in the crime.

Georgina initially denied involvement, but after a facemask was found in her bag, she admitted to the crime during police interrogation.

The father of Kwabena Osei revealed that the suspect confessed to telling her mother about the heinous crime after committing it.

Initially, reports suggested that Kwabena Osei’s friends were responsible for the crime, allegedly due to his refusal to share Ghc 190,000 obtained through fraudulent activities. However, new information obtained from reveals a shocking twist: Georgina’s motive for the crime was jealousy.

According to sources, Georgina and Kwabena Osei were in a romantic relationship from Junior High School to Senior High School. However, Georgina moved on to a new relationship and became pregnant during her time in school.

After learning about Georgina’s pregnancy, Kwabena Osei called off their relationship, stating he couldn’t date a woman with a child. He moved on to date Princess Ahiatey, a close friend of Georgina’s.

Unbeknownst to Kwabena, Georgina harbored resentment towards him for ending their relationship, even though she continued to benefit financially from Kwabena’s generosity

In a fit of jealousy, Georgina and two other unidentified individuals went to Kwabena’s house late at night, doused it with petrol, and set it ablaze without second-thoughts while Kwabena and his new girlfriend, Princess, were inside. This led to the horrific deaths of the young couple.

The case has been adjourned by the Ofaakor Circuit Court at Kasoa until Monday, October 21, 2024, for a ruling.
